Rare memorabilia fills the antique display cases that line the walls of the Motor House. A significant amount of memorabilia is available for purchase, as BCMH are constantly obtaining collections of memorabilia both nationally and internationally. A substantial amount of memorabilia is not for sale and this is part of the BCMH private collection. Items in this collection include rare and sentimental pieces from all over the word including car events that members of the Bain family have attended and competed in over the last 50 plus years such as international Bugatti Rallies, Mille Miglia, Prescott Hill Climb and many more.

Andrew Bain, Director of BCMH is the 5th generation of Bains to proudly trade in Canterbury under the family name. Having been brought up in Christchurch and attending Christ’s College Canterbury in his senior years of education Andrew says that history, tradition and good values hold a very special place in his heart. It is clear that these vital and very important traits make BCMH the very successful and personal business that it is today in the 2020’s.
