1967 Jaguar 420

“Grace Pace & Space”

This truly stunning 420 was registered new on the 10th November 1967 in Auckland, New Zealand. The car remained a North Island vehicle up until 1983. The Jaguar 420 was introduced at the October 1966 London Motor Show and produced for two years as the ultimate expression of a series of “compact sporting saloons” offered by Jaguar throughout that decade, all of which shared the same wheelbase. Developed from the Jaguar S-Type, the 420 cost around £200 more than that model. It was regarded by many as a far superior car to the S-Type for many reasons.
This beautiful example has been in the ownership of enthusiasts for many years and the quality of the finish of this vehicle speaks for itself. Finished in British Racing Green with immaculate chrome detailing and stunning wire wheels this car really is a show stopper. The cabin is well appointed as expected and is finished in magnolia coloured leather with beautifully finished woodwork and trim.
With a factory automatic transmission and power steering this car is the ultimate in effortless classic motoring. A truly usable classic !!
The car is accompanied by a Jaguar toolkit, Jaguar Heritage Certificate and a file of invoices pertaining to the maintenance and service history of the car.
